تحاول هذه الدراسة أن تقف تاريخيا أمام شخصية إدارية کان لها موقعها المتميز في الهيکل الإدارى في عهد الدولة السلجوقية والمعروفة باسم الطغرائى، وتدور عناصر هذه الدراسة حول عدة من المباحث تتکامل فيما بينها للتعريف بمعنى کلمة الطغراء والتعريف بشخصية الطغرائى، وشروط اختيارها، وموقعها من الحکام السلاجقة، ومراسم توليها، وتقدير الخاصة والعامة لها، وأشهر من تولى هذا المنصب في عهد الدولة السلجوقية. The elements of this study focus on several topics complementing each other to define the word 'Tughra', personage of tughra'i, the conditions of his selection, his position among the Seljuk rulers, his appointment ceremonies, the appreciation he had from the elite and public, and the most famous figures that have held this position during Seljuk Empire.
