يتناول هذا البحث موضوع التفکير النحوي عند ابن کثير من خلال عود الضمير، وهذ البحث يقومُ على فکرة هي أن تراثَ ابن کثير النحوي غني غِنىً لم يجد بعد حظه من التناول، وقد خصصنا هذا العمل للکشف عن معالم الشخصية النحوية لابن کثير أصالة وتفردًا، ولعنايته بمرجع الضمير فقد جعله أداة للتفسير، وقد قسمنا هذا الموضوع تقسيمًا سمح لنا بالحديث عن عود الضمير عند النحاة أولا وعن تناول المفسرين له ثانيا وعن قضية عود الضمير عند ابن کثير في تفسيره ثالثا وهذا المحور الأخير يکاد يکون هو لبُّ البحثِ وجوهره فإن فيه ترجيحات واعتراضات على کبار المفسرين والنحاة. الکلمات الافتتاحية: التفکير- النحوي- ابن کثير- عود الضمير.                     Ibn Kathir's Syntactic Thinking through Pronoun Referent in his Book “Interpretation of the Holy Qur'an" Ibrahim Saeed H. Alshammari Assistant Professor of Linguistics University of Hail Email: ibr.alshammary@uoh.edu.sa ABSTRACT: This research deals with an extremely important topic, which is Ibn Kathir's syntactic thinking of pronoun referent. It mainly focuses on the notion that Ibn Kathir's traditional syntax is rich, but it could not be covered fully yet. We devoted this work to investigate the features of the syntactic characteristics for Ibn Kathir, i.e., originality and individuality. This represents his devotion for pronoun referent, which he used as a tool for interpretation. We divided this topic in a way that allowed us to first talk about pronoun referent dealt with by Syntacticians and then interpreters. Third, this is followed by Ibn Kathir's view on pronoun referent, which is the core of this research as it contains some preferences and objections on senior interpreters.
