يمتاز شعر ابن قيس الرقيات بخصائص إيقاعية في الأوزان والنسيج الإيقاعي لکلماته، تمنح شعره مذاقًا خاصًّا، وتجعل من دراسة أوزان شعره دراسة إحصائية تحليلية ضرورةً ملحّة.
وقد قام هذا البحث بدراسة أوزان شعره دراسة إحصائية تحليلية. ومن خلال الإحصاء والتحليل، الذي تناول البحور التي أبدع خلالها الشاعر، ومن خلال تحليل نماذج من قصائده، استطاع الباحث الربط ما بين البحر والعاطفة ودرجتها، وکشف عن أبرز جوانب تجربة الشاعر وإيحاءاته الشعرية من خلال ذلک، کما قام بتصحيح بعض الأخطاء التي وقع فيها بعض الدارسين.
ثم درس ظاهرة بارزة في شعر ابن قيس الرقيات، ترتبط بالوزن، وهي ظاهرة التدوير، وقام بدراسة إحصائية تحليلية تفصيلية للبحور والقصائد التي استُخدِم فيها، وکشف عن دوره الترکيبي والدلالي والإيقاعي في شعر ابن قيس الرقيات.

The structure of the rhythm of meter in the poetry of Ibn Qais ar-Roqayyat and the role of (Tadwir) in it - An analytical statistical study

Abstract: The poetry of Ibn Qais ar-Roqayyat is characterized by rhythmic properties of meters and rhythmic structure of his words that give a special taste for his poetry and make the studying of the meters of his poetry an analytical and statistical necessity.
This research has studied the meters of his poems using a statistical analysis of the meters which were created by the poet. By analyzing samples of his poems, the researcher was able to connect between each meter and sentiment with its degree, reveal the most prominent aspects of the poet's experience and his poetic inspirations through it, and correct some mistakes that were made by some Scholars.
It studied a prominent phenomenon in Ibn Qais poetry, related to the meter, which is the phenomenon of (Tadwir) and undertook a detailed statistical analysis of the metrics and poems in which it was used. it revealed its structural, semantic and rhythmic role in Ibn Qais poetry as well.
