العناية الإلهية عند سينيکا، لقد أشار سينيکا إلى العناية الإلهية بشکل سريع في أعمال سابقة مثل عمل "المسائل الطبيعية"، و"فيدرا". يعالج عمل سينيکا "عن العناية الإلهية De Providentia" بالأساس قضية العدالة الإلهية في تساؤل لماذا تحدث شرور کثيرة للرجال الصالحين مع أن الکون يُدار بالعناية الإلهية؟ وقد آمن سينيکا بالآلهة وبعنايتها وقام بدور المدافع عنهم. وقد أوضح سينيکا المعنى الرواقي للعناية الإلهية وعَرَفَها بأنها القدر ووصفها بأنها الضرورة الحتمية لکل الأشياء والأفعال، وليس هناک أي قوة يمکنها أن تصمد أمام تلک الضرورة أو أن تقهرها، وأن هذا العالم لا يمکن أن يکون خاليًا من حامِ له. Providence with Seneca. Seneca has referred to Providence in earlier works such as “Naturales Quaestiones", and “Phaedra". Seneca's De Providentia (on Providence) basically handles the issue of Divine justice through the question: why do many evils happen to good men while the universe is run by Divine Providence? Seneca believed in gods and their Providence and therefore he defended them.  Seneca has explained the stoic meaning of Providence defining it as “destiny" and described it the necessity for  all things and actions, and that there is no power that can withstand against this necessary or defeat it, and that the world cannot go without a protector.
