مستخلص البحث:   يسعى هذا البحث لدراسة خاصية شعرية وهي الإيقاع في نص نثري هو کتاب الأيام للدکتور طه حسين، والذي يعتبر من قلائل کتب السيرة الذاتية التي تأنق کاتبه في أسلوبه واختيار مفرداته وتراکيبه، فقد عنى طه حسين- کعادته- باختياراته اللفظية في هذا الکتاب فجاء أسلوبه مشرقاً ممتعاً، وجاءت ألفاظه رشيقة أنيقة أعطت الکتاب سمتاً مميزاً وطابعاً خاصاً، جعل للنص إيقاعاً ملموساً دفع الکاتب إلى کسره بين الحين والآخر، وفقاً للمقام المناسب، وقد تبدَّى ذلک من خلال العديد من النماذج التي سنعرضها في هذا البحث بحول الله تعالى.   وقد خلص البحث لنتائج عديدة أهمها: إن الإيقاع موجود في النثر وله من الجماليات ما يجعل النص النثري مميزاً شکلاً ومضموناً، وإن الدکتور طه حسين استخدم تقنية کسر الإيقاع بوعي تام ووظفها بذکاء في کتاب الأيام، وقد خلص البحث إلى أن الإيقاع في النص ليس حلية شکلية بل قد يمتد إلى لعب دور دلالي أيضاً. Abstract This paper aims at studying a certain poetical characteristic. It is a rhythm in a prose text of “Alayam book" by Dr Taha Hussein. This book is considerably one of the best ones in biography written books.      Taha Hussein has done his best to choose a nice style and elegant words to write Alayam book, so he wrote it in a very attractive way of selecting words and high techniques of artistry writing. For that, Dr Taha Hussein was an excellent writer who was recognized by his fantastic own style in writing biographies.     This style lets him break the rhythm from time to time in order to suit each occasion accordingly. The samples, that will be exposed in this study, will show the mentioned style clearly.     This study shows that: there is a rhythm in prose work which makes the text look beautifully nice and distinguished in its form and essence. The study  investigates that Dr Taha Hussein used the technique of breaking rhythm in his book “Alayam" cleverly. This paper also shows that the rhythm in a text is not only a decoration, but it also has a semantical role.
