Abstract

Vegetation and seed bank dynamics were undertaken in Wadi Fatima (western region of Saudi Arabia). 56
species representing 26 families of vascular plants are recorded in six community types dominated by Acacia
mellifera, Acacia tortilis ssp. tortilis, Rhazya stricta, Haloxylon salicornicum, Leptadenia pyrotechnica and
Senna italica, respectively. Assesment of soil seed bank was also undertaken
