Abstract

Eight mosses are reported from Tanumah Mountains, south-west Saudi Arabia. Two of them: Bryum
pseudotriquetrum (Hedw.) Gaertn., Meyer & Scherb. and Hypnum cupressiforme Hedw. are described. The reported
mosses represent three floristic elements (sub) Cosmopolitan, Northern and circum-Tethyan.
