Abstract

The Late Carboniferous of Rod El-Hamal Formation, Wadi Araba has some fossil plant remains content. The
systematic description of these remains reveals the identification of twelve species representing Lycophyta,
Sphenophyta, Pteridospermatophyta, and Cordaitophyta. All are recorded for the first time from this formation.
