تناولت في بحث الولاية بين الغلو والاعتدال "عرض ونقد" قضية الغلو في الولاية والمتمثلة في غلو بعض الفرق في الأولياء حتى بلغ بهم طاعتهم في کل ما يأمرونهم به ولو کان ذلک في معصية الله - جل وعلا - بل وصل الحال عند بعضهم الاعتقاد أن الأولياء معصومون وأنهم يقومون بوظائف کونية مما لا يقدر عليها إلا الله – جل وعلا - کتدبير الکون وتسيير أموره من دون الله - جل وعلا – وغير ذلک من الوظائف، وقد ناقشت غلوهم في الولاية مدعما مناقشتي لهم وتعليقاتي بالأدلة الصحيحة من الکتاب والسنة وأقوال علماء سلف الأمة. بالإضافة إلى مناقشة فرقة أخرى کان غلوها في الولاية محاولة استدلالها بها على ولاية الإمام علي - رضي الله عنه – بعد رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم – مستغلة في ذلک دلالة بعض معاني الولاية على السلطة، محاولة حمل الکثير من الآيات والأحاديث وتطويعها قسرا لتدل على ما ذهبت إليه، بل حشرت الکثير من الآيات والأحاديث حشرا، مع أنه لا دليل لهم فيها. کما تناولت الاعتدال في الولاية والمتمثل عقيدة أهل السنة والجماعة القائم على کتاب الله - جل وعلا - وسنة رسوله – صلى الله عليه وسلم - کونها قضية عقائدية تمس الجانب العقائدي عند کل مسلم. In the study on Wilayah between fundamentalism and moderation, I presented and critiqued the issue of “fundamentalism in Wilayah". The study highlighted how some fundamental sects sanctify their Walis “religious leaders" to the extent that they obey them in whatever orders they give even if they are ordered to disobey Almighty Allah. Moreover, some of these sects consider their Walis “religious references" infallible and that they can perform universal acts that can never be done except by Almighty Allah. Examples of these acts are controlling and managing the universe andthe possession of many other extraordinary powers. I discussed this fundamentalism in my research on Wilayah and I supported my argumentation with comments, and evidence from Quraan, Sunnah, and the opinions of accredited Islamic scholars in the past. In addition, in the same study, I have discussed another sect whose fundamentalism is evident in their attempt to convince people of the Wilayah (leadership) of Imam Ali bin abiTaleb (may Allah be pleased with him) after the prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). This sect purposelyextended the connotations of Wilayah to mean power. They cited many verses from Quraan and many Hadiths (propeht's sayings) and misinterpreted them in a way that serves their vested interests. The study has also discussed modernism in understanding what Wilayah means in the doctrine of Sunni Muslims. This understanding is based on the Holy Quraan and the true Sunnah of the prophet peace be upon him being an issue that affects the doctrine of every Muslim.
