يتطرق هذا البحث لکشف المواطن التي تلتقى فيها دراسات البلاغيين للمقابلة، وکيف تضافرت لأجل الوصول إلى تحديد مفهومها، فقد تعددت رؤى البلاغيين في دراسة المقابلة بين مُتشدّد في مفهومها وتقسيماتها وحصرها في صور بعينها، وبين متوسع في دراستها استنادا إلى واقع النصوص العربية متجاوزين التقيد بالضّدّ أو الترتيب أو العدد، انطلاقا إلى ما هو أوسع وأرحب، ولعل من أهم هذه الدعاوى ربط أسلوب المقابلة بالمعاني، وقد وجدت هذه الدعوى صدى کبيرا لدى الباحثين قديما وحديثا، فأسهمت في إغناء مفهوما، وتوسيع أنماطها ودلالاتها، وبهذه المعالجة يتم ربطها بمنهج الإمام عبد القاهر القائم على التسليم بفکرة النظم، وهى المصدر الأساس لکل صفات الحسن والجمال.
The present study aims at revealing the meeting points in which the Rhetoric Scholars meet for the Contrast, and how they combined in order to reach the definition of its concept. The Rhetoric Scholars' visions varied with regard to studying the Contrast between those who are strict and extremist concerning its concept, divisions and confining it to specific images on one hand , and those who expand their own study of the contrast due to the reality of Arabic texts, overcoming the adherence to opposition or arrangement or the number in quest for what is broader and more welcoming. Perhaps, the most important study or call among them is the study which aims at linking the style of the Contrast with the meaning. Indeed, the study has greatly been supported and admired by the researchers in the past and at the present time. So it has already contributed to enriching its own concept and expanding its own patterns and connotations. Hence, such a type of treatment has been linked to the approach of Imam Abdul Qaher based on the belief in and recognition of the idea of Word Organizing which is the main source of the qualities of beauty.
