Ismailia 2, a new peanut cultivar released by Oil Crop Research Department, Field Crops Research Institute, ARC, Egypt in 2020, offers peanut growers a new choice for high yielding, and high seed oil percentage cultivar. Yield trials conducted during three successive growing summer seasons of 2016, 2017 and 2018 and 10 verification yield trials through the two growing seasons of 2019 and 2020. The results proved the superiority of the new cultivar Ismailia 2 over the commercial peanut cultivars.
