ملخص البحث:
يهدف البحث إلى توضيح کيفية تصوير الشعراء الإنجليز ملکات مصر القديمة في أشعارهم في القرن التاسع عشر، وتقييم هذه الصورة في ذلک الوقت وتقويمها.
ويستند هذا البحث إلى المنهج المقارن، الذي يُعنى بالمقارنة بين الصورة "موضوع الدراسة" وأصلها، ثم نقدها، وبيان ما فيها من صواب وخطأ.
وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج من أهمها:
رصد الشعراء في قصائدهم حياة حتشبسوت وکليوباترا رصدًا دقيقًا.
راوح الشعراء بين الوصف الحسي والوصف المعنوي في رسم شخصية حتشبسوت وکليوباترا، وهو ما أضفى على القصائد جمالًا خاصًّا من حيث اللفظ والمعنى.

Image of the Ancient Egyptian Queens in the English Poetry in the Nineteenth Century

Abstract:
The present study aims to illustrate, assess, and evaluate how the English poets depicted the ancient Egyptian queens in the nineteenth century. It adopts the comparative approach that compares the examined image to its origin, criticizes it, and illustrates the right and wrong aspects. The study concludes that poets depicted the lives of Hatshepsut and Cleopatra accurately. Moreover, poets employed concrete and abstract descriptions of Hatshepsut and Cleopatra. Consequently, they could add beauty to the poems in terms of words (expression) meanings.
