سعى البحث الحالي إلى معرفة مدى ممارسة طلاب المرحلة الثانوية بمحافظة القريات - منطقة الجوف بالمملکة العربية السعودية لمهارات الاستقصاء العلمي في الأنشطة العملية بمقررات الفيزياء من وجهة نظر المعلمين والطلاب. وتکونت عينة البحث من (39) معلماً، و(852) طالباً، بالمرحلة الثانوية بالمدارس الحکومية بمحافظة القريات، وأعد الباحث استبيان للکشف عن مدى ممارسة الطلاب لمهارات الاستقصاء العلمي بمقررات الفيزياء للمعلمين والطلاب. وأظهرت النتائج ارتفاع ممارسة الطلاب لمهارات الاستقصاء العلمي في الأنشطة العملية بمقررات الفيزياء من وجهة نظر معلميهم، وضعف ممارسة الطلاب لمهارات الاستقصاء العلمي من وجهة نظرهم، مع عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين استجابات المعلمين حول ممارسة الطلاب لمهارات الاستقصاء العلمي وذلک في جميع محاور الاستبيان على الرغم من اختلاف نوع المؤهل العلمي للمعلمين ومستوى تأهيلهم وعدد سنوات خبرتهم في التدريس، وکذلک وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين استجابات الطلاب حسب متغير الصف الدراسي في جميع محاور الاستبيان والمجموع الکلي في اتجاه الصفوف الأعلى، کما وجدت فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات استجابات المعلمين والطلاب حول ممارسة الطلاب لمهارات الاستقصاء العلمي بحيث جاءت جميع الفروق في جميع محاور الاستبيان ودرجته الکلية لصالح المعلمين. وأوصى البحث بضرورة تفعيل ممارسة طلاب المرحلة الثانوية بمحافظة القريات بمنطقة الجوف لمهارات الاستقصاء العلمي على ضوء نتائج المعلمين والطلاب، مع عقد ندوة علمية تجمع عينة من المعلمين والطلاب لمناقشة أسباب اختلاف وجهات النظر فيما بينهم حول ممارسة مهارات الاستقصاء العلمي، ووجه إلى إجراء أبحاث مستقبلية تتناول مقررات علمية أخرى مثل الکيمياء والأحياء وتطبيق نفس البحث الحالي على الطالبات وعلى المدارس الأهلية ومناطق أخرى بالمملکة العربية السعودية.
The current research aimed to know the practice extent of secondary students in Al Guryate city - Al Jouf region Saudi Arabia for scientific inquiry skills in practical activities in physics courses, from teachers and students views. The sample of the research contain (39) teachers, and (852) students, in the secondary stage at government schools in Al Guryate city. The results showed the high practice of the students for scientific inquiry skills in the practical activities of physics courses from the teachers view of their, the weakness of secondary the students' practice of scientific inquiry skills from their view, with there weren't statistically significant differences between the teachers' responses about the practice of scientific inquiry skills of the students in all axes of the questionnaire, despite the difference in the type of academic qualification, level of qualification and the number of years of teaching experience, and so there were statistically significant differences between the responses of the students according to the variable of the class in all the axes of the questionnaire and its total degree and in the direction of the higher grade, and finally there were statistically significant differences between the average responses of teachers and students about the practice of the scientific inquiry skills in all axes of the questionnaire and its overall degree in the benefit of teachers. The study recommended the necessity of activating the practice of secondary student's scientific inquiry skills in Al Guryate city Al Jouf region in the light of the results of teachers and students, and holding a scientific symposium that gathers a sample of teachers and students to discuss the reasons of different views among them about the practice of scientific inquiry skills. The research directed to conduct future research dealing with other scientific courses such as chemistry and biology and applying the same current research to female students and to private schools and other areas in Saudi Arabia.
