هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الکشف عن مستوى التفکير ما وراء المعرفي لدى طلبة الجامعة وعلاقته بالتحصيل الأکاديمي، وما إذا کان مستوى التفکير ما وراء المعرفي لدى طلبة الجامعة يختلف باختلاف متغيري نوع الطالب وتحصيله الأکاديمي. تکونت عينة الدراسة من (380) طالبا وطالبة؛ من طلبة البکالوريوس في کلية الحصن الجامعية التابعة لجامعة البلقاء التطبيقية في الأردن، في الفصل الثاني من العام الجامعي2015/2016. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى التفکير ما وراء المعرفي لدى طلبة الجامعة کان مرتفعا. ولم تکن هناک فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة الإحصائية (0.05 =α) لأثر النوع في مستوى التفکير ما وراء المعرفي لدى طلبة الجامعة، بينما وجدت فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى التفکير ما وراء المعرفي لدى طلبة الجامعة تبعا لمتغير التحصيل الأکاديمي؛ ولصالح الطلبة من ذوي التحصيل المرتفع.
Metacognitive Thinking Level Amongst University
Students and its Relationship to Academic Achievement
Abstract: This study aimed at identifying the level of metacognitive thinking amongst university students in the light of the variables of: gender and Academic Achievement level. The sample of the study consisted of (380) students from the faculty of Huson at Balqa Applied University in Jordan, in the Second semester of the academic year 2015-2016. The results of the study revealed that the sample of the study showed a high level of metacognitive thinking at the total score level, and at the level of each domain separately: knowledge cognition, regulation of cognition and cognition processing. The results also revealed that there were no statistical significant differences in metacognitive thinking due to the gender. The results also indicated that there were statistical significant differences in metacognitive thinking level, and in all domains due to the academic achievement in the favor of the high achievement knowledge cognition, regulation of cognition, cognition processing.
