استهدف البحث بصفة رئيسية تحديد طبيعة العلاقة بين إدمان تکنولوجيا المعلومات والإتصال والمشکلات السلوکية لدى عينة من طلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسى، وتتحدد مشکلة البحث في الکشف عن طبيعة العلاقة بين إدمان تکنولوجيا المعلومات والإتصال والمشکلات السلوکية لدى عينة من طلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسى، تکونت عينة البحث من (200) من طلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسى من مستويات اقتصادية واجتماعية مختلفة، تم تجميع العينة من محافظة الغربية بطريقة صدفية غرضية، تم التطبيق الميدانى خلال شهر نوفمبر 2017م، وتکونت أداة البحث من: استمارة البيانات العامة لطلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسى، استبيان إدمان تکنولوجيا المعلومات والإتصال، استبيان المشکلات السلوکية لطلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسى (وجميعها من إعداد الباحثتين). وکانت أهم النتائج التى توصل اليها البحث:وجود علاقة ارتباطية بين إدمان تکنولوجيا المعلومات والإتصال لدى طلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسى ببعديه ومشکلاتهم السلوکية بأبعادها، وجود علاقة ارتباطية بين إدمان تکنولوجيا المعلومات والإتصال لدى طلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسى ببعديه ومشکلاتهم السلوکية بأبعادها وبعض متغيرات المستوى الاجتماعى والاقتصادى والثقافى(عدد الأخوة - دخل الأسرة – تعليم الأب والأم)، وجود فروق دالة احصائياً بين متوسطات طلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسى عينة البحث في إدمان تکنولوجيا المعلومات والإتصال ومشکلاتهم السلوکية تبعاً "الجنس "ذکور- إناث " لصالح الذکور، عمل الأم "لصالح أبناء الأمهات العاملات، وجود تباين دال احصائيا فى إدمان تکنولوجيا المعلومات والإتصال لدى طلاب الحلقة الثانية من التعليم الأساسى ببعديه ومشکلاتهم السلوکية بأبعادها تبعا (لوقت بداية الاستخدام "لصالح المستوى المرتفع (أکثر من 5 سنوات ) " – ترتيب الطالب بين إخوته "لصالح الطفل الثالث ").
