Abstract

A key is presented to the Egyptian subfamilies of the family Pteromalidae as they are definedatthepresenttime,soastofacilitate recognition of the family. Included is a diagnosis of the family and illustrations of the taxonomic characters of the family and subfamilies. The key is based on material deposited in the main reference insect collections in Egypt and records from the literature.
