Abstract

Several 4(3H)-quinazolinones containing pyridine moiety were synthesized starting from substituted anthranilic acid derivatives. Copper complexes of 3-amino-2-pyridinyl-4(3H)-quinazolinones and some of their derivatives were synthesized and characterized. The synthesized compounds were screened for their anticonvulsant, analgesic, antitumor, as well as, their antimicrobial activities.
