Abstract

The study aims to: An ecological economic study of the use of treated sewage water in the cultivation of wooden trees in South Sinai Governorate, Al-Tor to region benefit from that wood in the manufacture of furniture instead of importing it Extracting oils and biofuels, Providing natural fertilizer Add an unconventional source of water, increasing the agricultural area in the deserts, Protecting biological diversity, by protecting forests to serve the goals of sustainable development, protecting the environment from pollution and the spread of diseases resulting from sewage water, as well as paying attention to development through the cultivation of desert backwaters with treated sewage water to reduce desertification.
The researcher followed the descriptive method in analyzing the data, information and statistics related to the subject of the study, and the sample number was (80).  The statistical approach was used to choose the measurement tools and to verify the validity of the hypotheses using the appropriate statistical methods for the subject of the study and to elicit and interpret the results: the use of sewage water after treatment provided us with a new and renewable source of non-traditional water sources through which wooden trees are planted in forests and through which the furniture industries are carried out without the need to import wood, Extracting oils such as Jatropha and jojoba, which are exported, which increases the gross domestic product. Study recommendations: establishing sewage treatment plants with the latest technology in the Egyptian deserts, and providing a pure water source that is used in the cultivation of desert backs to expand the cultivation of forests and benefit from the economic value of its timber, increasing investments in the field of forest planting and cooperating with investors, thus achieving great economic value and providing job opportunities for young people
