Abstract

The aim of the study is to identify the reality of the implementation of the information technology law in Egypt telecommunication sector, and the impact of administrative development besides modern communication technologies to reach the idea of sustainable smart cities , this study was based on the descriptive analytical approach, and the study community is represented by the administrative leaders in telecommunication companies, the National telecom regulatory authority and the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, and used a survey list and also an explanatory note for some Vocabulary and articles of the  Law of Information Technology No. 175 of 2018 and the total number : 420 lists , 364 valid lists  were obtained for statistical analysis , and the preliminary data collected using the survey list were processed by some statistical methods. The results of the study showed that the moral impact of the dimensions of administrative development according to the law of information technology  No. 175 of 2018 on achieving sustainable smart  cities, and having a moral impact on the dimensions of modern communication technologies on achieving sustainable smart  cities. The results also showed that the dimension of business continuity management and flexibility is one of the most influential dimensions of administrative development on achieving sustainable smart cities , and the dimension of  cloud computing of the most influential dimensions of communication technologies on achieving  sustainable smart cities The study recommended :  the need to implement the law of information technology No. 175 for 2018 in Egypt telecommunications sector, which achieves the sustainability of the provision of services and the need to activate systems of development and administrative innovation and the use of modern communication technologies such as internet of things technology.
