Abstract

Heart disease is one of the most important and dangerous diseases, and according to the World Health Organization, heart disease is still the leading cause of death globally, accounting for 16% of all deaths from all causes. It kills more people today than ever before, with the number of deaths from heart disease rising by more than two million since 2000, reaching nearly nine million in 2019. Studies conducted on this subject indicate that social and economic factors remain primary drivers of ischemic heart disease, and this means that factors overlap, making it more difficult to deal with heart disease. Thus, cardiovascular diseases are the main cause of disease in the world, which confirms the importance of conducting this study to determine the total burden of cardiovascular diseases, which includes 13 main causes of death from cardiovascular diseases and 9 related risk factors. The main question is set out in: What is the relationship between quality of life and heart disease? In fact, researchers' concern in the concept of quality of life has increased since the beginning of the second half of the twentieth century as a concept linked to positive psychology, which has come in response to the importance of a positive view of individuals as an alternative to the great focus that psychologists gave to the negative aspects of individuals' lives. Research issues have been numerous in this context, including subjective experiences, habits, and positive traits of personality, and everything that leads to an improvement in the quality of life. Studies of the last century have confirmed that the positive aspect of personality is more prominent than the negative aspect, and that these two aspects do not necessarily represent two opposite directions, but rather Human behavior moves between them according to many factors related to this behavior. (Rgda on Naisa 2012). Hence, the researcher has felt the necessity of preparing a study explaining the social and economic factors associated with heart disease in light of the quality of life, in order to examine the consequences thereof and the involved problems to improve the level of health and reduce the spread of diseases, especially, the heart disease, which is the pulse of life.
