This current research discusses the study of the social and psychological variables associated with willingness and reluctance of youth of both sexes to participate in advanced technology-based on sustainable development projects, identifying as well, the extent to which youth understand the content and importance of advanced technology, studying reasons of reluctance to work, and its social and psychological consequences and defining the impact of reluctance of university graduates of both sexes to participate in sustainable development projects. The study sample consists of (150) items from both sexes, selected from theoretical and scientific universities' graduates. The researcher uses the descriptive method, applying as well, the following scales: (Scale of Social Variables), (Scale of Psychological Variables), (Scale of the Five Factors of Personality), (Scale of the World Health Organization Quality of Life), and (Scale Willingness and Reluctance).
The study comes to the following results:
There is a statistically significant correlation between the scale of social variables and the willingness and reluctance of youth of both sexes to participate in sustainable development projects with advanced technology, in terms of (the dimension of citizenship, the religious dimension, the quality of social life, and the full score of the scale).
The study comes out with a set of recommendations as follows:
Providing rehabilitation and training centers for young graduates on how to develop, learn and train to develop their level and specialization.
