This research aims to shed light on small projects, show the social impacts of their impact on raising the level of the individual, family and society, and to clarify the link between the effectiveness of these projects and the achievement of economic development, in order to achieve this goal has been studied the current situation of small enterprises. In the Oasis of Siwa in order to find out its current status in the light of the rates of economic development, and then study the role that these projects can play in the future under the circumstances that befell most of the economies of the world, including Egypt, and research was carried out in the area of Siwa in Matrouh governorate as a geographical area, and has used the method of Social survey by sample on a regular random sample of 200 small entrepreneurs funded by charities and the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and used in the analysis of the data the table presentation in repetitions and percentages, in addition to the arithmetic average and deviation Normative. The results showed that half of the respondents accounted for 51.5% of their agricultural projects, and that most members of the research sample relied on the funding of their projects on ngos working in this field, and the results for the duration of small projects showed that the extension ranges from one to less than 10 years. These periods are sufficient to evaluate the project economically or socially. The results also indicate that most of the respondents have a significant to moderate impact score (99%), and for the results related to improving the family level, the results showed that more than two thirds of the research sample had a low to moderate impact score for the family (49.5%). Most members of the research sample also confirmed that these projects have a direct impact on society by (65.5%) and recommend the need to overcome the obstacles facing small enterprises in desert communities and give them sufficient importance as hope and the future to overcome the problems that hinders the development of these communities.
