AN ECONOMIC STUDY FOR WASTE RECYCLING TO PRODUCE UNCONVENTIONAL FODDER

Abstract

The problem of the study is the decrease in the quantities of traditional fodder produced, whether green fodder represented by alfalfa, drum, and other green fodder, or dry fodder represented by straw, hay, silage, and dry concentrate due to the high raw materials of the concentrated fodder industry and the import of industrial supplies from abroad. Red and white meat production reached about 0.89, 906.3 million tons, respectively, as an average for the study period, while average milk production was about 5.68 million tons as an average for the period (2004-2017). This research aims at a field study on recycling of plant wastes (maize fir - and rice), through a questionnaire form designed for a sample of farmers in Qaliubiya in 2018, was chosen as the province for easy access to farmers and others in animal production, especially the production of poultry and dairy The study shows that the production of maize firewood amounted to about 2335.6 thousand lambs at the level of the republic, while the production of the Qalubiya governorate of corn wood reached about 84.5 thousand lambs, or about 3.62% of the republic for the year 2018, while the republic's productivity of maize firewood reached about 11.22 lambs per acre. On the other hand, Qalubia yield reached about 13 loads per feddan, while the average price of cornwood load was about 38, 37 pounds for pregnancy for the Republic and Qalubia Governorate, respectively, for the year 2018. The study also shows that the rice straw production reached about 7580.11 thousand lambs at the level of the republic, while the Qalubia governorate production of rice straw reached about 17.4 thousand lambs, at a rate of about 0.3% of the republic for the year 2018, while the republic's productivity of rice straw reached 8.83 lambs per acre and in return Qalubia yield reached about 9 lambs per acre, while the average price of rice straw carry was around 36 and 37 pounds for pregnancy for the Republic and Qalubia Governorate, respectively, for the year 2018.
