Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the relationship between quality of life and early miscarriage among aborted women in light of some psychological and environmental variables. The main sample consisted of (100) aborted women in the first months of pregnancy. And the number of (50) aborted women in urban areas, in the age group 18-45 years, in both rural and urban homes. The researchers used the comparative descriptive approach, and the data collected on the SPSS statistical program were analyzed to ensure the validity and reliability of the tools by using Crnbach's alpha coefficient and Pearson correlation coefficient to know The extent of the correlation between the study variables, depending on the tools used in the study, such as “quality of life scale, abortion scale, psychological variables scale, and environmental variables scale." The study concluded: There is a positive, statistically significant correlation between the total degree of the abortion scale and between The field of physical health, mental health, environment, total score of the quality of life scale) in the rural sample, while there is an inverse correlation with a statistical significance between the total score of the abortion scale and between each From (the field of social relations, the field of environment, the total score of the quality of life scale) in the urban sample, there is a positive, statistically significant correlation between the total score of the abortion scale and each of the dimensions of the psychological variables scale (anxiety-depression) in the sample of aborted women in both Rural environment and urban environment, while there is a positive, statistically significant correlation between the total degree of the abortion scale and the dimensions of the scale of environmental variables (hospital environment, housing environment, physical environment, family environment, social environment) among a sample of aborted women in both rural and urban environments. The researchers recommended the necessity for the Ministry of Health to prepare health awareness programs for married women so that they do not suffer abortion, and the need to conduct more research and studies on abortion through conducting counseling programs for aborted women, and mitigating the psychological and social effects of abortion.
