This study aimed to identify the factors that may lead to the return of recovering addicts to addiction. The study uncovered some social and psychological variables to identify the real causes of relapse. The study sample consisted of (40). Their chronological ages ranged from (16-20) years. The problem of the current study necessitated following the descriptive approach, and the following tools were used to verify the study hypotheses: Relapse Situation Questionnaire 100. Maladaptive Scale. Self-destruction scale. Questionnaire of social variables. Data collection form.
Results: There is a statistically significant correlation between the scores of the study sample of adolescents dependent on psychological materials on the Relapse Situation Questionnaire 100, self-destruction, maladjustment and psychological variables. There is a statistically significant correlation between the scores of the study sample of adolescents dependent on psychological materials on the Relapse Situation Questionnaire 100, self-destruction, maladjustment and social variables.
