The current study drives at exploring the environmental assessment of Al-Asmarat district project through identifying the points of view of the slums' residents who are resettled in Al-Asmarat quarter in Mukatam area in Cairo governorate. The researchers have defined a sample consistent of (298) males and females at different age stages. The sample is selected randomly and the researchers have used the descriptive method. Data are treated using the T. Test – The Coefficient Correlation – Chi-Square – Averages – Standard Deviation – Profit Percentage average – Numbers and Percentages of the scale questions.
The study comes to these results: The residents of Al-Asmarat district have satisfaction for the natural environment of their quarter and this is proved through the high profitable average of quality of the natural environment of Al-Asmarat quarter from researchees' point of view. The study also reveals the residents' satisfaction for the constructed environment though their conservation to some needs such as the establishment of a general hospital, occasions house, and fun fair area.
The study proves that there is no statistically significant relationship between quality of the environment and the full dimensions of the scale, which is a positive correlation, i.e. that the more is the quality of natural environment, the more is the satisfaction level on the total sum of the scale's dimensions.
Study Recommends: Generalization of the model of Al-Asmarat Quarter in Mukatam area in Cairo governorate to all of Egypt's governorates. Considering the entertainment areas at implementing a quarter for resettlement of the slums' people, such as for example, establishing occasions house and fun fair.
