The study aimed to develop the life skills of people with visual disabilities using assistive technology. The researchers has used more than theory (social pressure theory, ecological pattern theory, basic theoretical aspects of environmental psychology) theories of the interpretation of the process of socialization and these theories serve the subject of research. The study sample consisted of 30 persons with visual disabilities in the age group 18-24 years. The study used the experimental method, which is suitable for the study. For the life skills of people with visual disabilities in addition to the training program for the development of life skills using technology and the results of the study - There were statistically significant differences between the experimental group and the control group on the life skills scale after applying the program to the experimental group. - There are statistically significant differences between the scores of the experimental group members on the life skills scale before and after the application of the program in favor of the post application. Previous results show that the program has had an effective impact on improving and developing the life skills of persons with visual disabilities. The results of the study stressed the importance of training the visually impaired in building their personal abilities and practical skills. - To contribute training and rehabilitation in raising the efficiency of the visually impaired and integrating them into society in all fields. The use of technology in the development of life skills increases the degree of independence of the visually impaired, which helps them to enter the labor market and increase their economic and social empowerment The study recommends the need to integrate the assistive technology component into training and rehabilitation programs for persons with disabilities in general and persons with visual disabilities in particular, and to pay attention to life skills development programs for persons with disabilities.
