The study aims to monitor the current water crisis and its consequences, and to identify the awareness and realization of media practitioners in the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of these crises.
This study is a kind of descriptive studies that relied on the survey method. The sample of the analytical study was in the communication methods used in the media center of the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation. The study used the content analysis form and the contact form for data collection.
The most prominent results were the diversity of the strategies used in communication methods during handling the water crisis of the Nile Basin countries. The "crisis clarification" strategy came in first place with 62.76%. The strategy of "Identifying Causes" occupied the second place by (42.64%), followed by the "the necessity to face the crisis" strategy (22.18%). In addition, there is a positive correlation between the extent to which the communicator relies on communication methods used and managing the water crisis in the Nile Basin Countries.
