Abstract

This study belongs to the pattern of analytical descriptive studies in order to determine the relationship between two independent variable variables. The use of information technology and a dependent variable is the development of social skills among the university students to test the following hypotheses, which states: Social skills and the development of the use of information technology "," there is a statistically significant correlation between the degrees of social skills and grades and development of the use of information technology in both male and female youth and "There are statistically significant differences in both social skills and the development of the use of information technology between male and female mean scores according to the household size variable,". "There are statistically significant differences in both social skills and IT usage among average male and average scores "The current study is based on the sample social survey method for students of the Faculty of Humanities, KuwaitUniversity. The study relied on two tools for obtaining the evidence of the school society, The results of the study revealed that there are significant differences statistically significant (a = 0.01) between males and females according to the scale of the study. Social skills as a whole The differences as a whole came in favor of males when the mean of females was reached. The results of the study showed that there was a statistically significant correlation between the scores of social skills and grades and the development of the use of information technology in both males and females Of the youth and the kidney sample. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences (a = 0.01) in both the social skills and the development of the use of information technology between the average of the males and the average of the females according to the size of the family. While there are no statistically significant differences between the use of information technology between the average grade of males and the average grade of females according to the variable size of the family. The results of the study also showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the social skills and the development of the use of information technology between the average male and the average grade of females according to the ranking variable among the brothers.
