The researcher tried to discover the relationship between some proverbs wide spreading in rural areas which express some properties (such as religiousness,conformity, individualism, carelessness,  fatalism, patience, satisfaction, dualism, and management ) and these properties in the rural personality. Also, to make a comparison between high and low socioeconomic level. The researcher has prepared two scales for this study. The first to measure the above mentioned properties in the rural personality and the second to measure the convection of rural people in proverbs that express these properties .Sample of study consists of 100 subjects, 50 of them are of high socioeconomic level and 50 of low socioeconomic level. The researcher has found that there is a correlation between the properties such as conformity, individualism, carelessness, fatalism, patience, satisfaction, dualism, and management at people of low socioeconomic level and their belief in proverbs expressing these properties. Also, there is a correlation between properties such as conformity, fatalism, and peacefulness in people of high socioeconomic level and their belief in in proverbs expressing the same properties.
