The current study drives at identifying the social and physical variables associated with research sample, identifying as well how far the requirements of safety and occupational health do exist and the necessity to enlighten workers with labor risks and approaches of prevention. The study attempts also to identify the size of injuries and materialistic damages besides accidents with no losses of the total size of accidents committed by the research sample. It also aims to identify the circumstances leading to labor accidents in the 6th of October city plants. The study uses the sample-social survey method, collecting data through a questionnaire form directed to workers-related to committed labor accidents either those accidents are reflected in human injuries or materialistic losses, serious or limited. The study results and recommendations are crystallized in the following: The necessity for concerning more with human aspects of workers and provide them a suitable well-being and life; satisfying their basic needs and avoid them the feeling of need. There should be also a good investment in a worker by reinforcing his abilities and technical skills, training him to qualify him to his work type, achieving in turn the economic targets of industrial establishments. The necessity to train workers and enlighten with work risks and prevention means, since these accidents destroy industry and capitals, so, the worker will be able to deal properly with work emergencies if he is well-trained. The necessity to consider accidents with/without materialistic losses, investigation their reasons, and evaluating resulted risks, as they are considered a significant indicator of problems that may lead to disasters. The necessity to concern with safety means, tools, and systems, besides maintenance of machines and equipments to avoid accidents' occurrence and preserve workers' lives not to become a pressure factor for workers besides their social problems and pressures.
