The current study drives at analyzing cost and benefit for evaluating the good healthy food programs for diabetic children in attempt to reach low-cost healthy programs to create awareness among children and their families. The researchers have used the deductive and inductive method in addition to the quasi-experimental method to fulfill study. A questionnaire form has been designed for children to identify what nutritional patterns and customs children tackle with. A questionnaire form is also designed for family to identify what quality of nutrition presented to their children. A proposed low-cost program is also designed for proper healthy nutrition of carbohydrates, protein, calories, and fats. A scale of awareness of low economically costs healthy nutrition is designed for study. The study is administered on a sample consists of (31) male/female children, aged (7-12 year olds) with weights range from (13-54 keg.) from some civil societies. The proposed program proves its efficacy for being low-cost for developing awareness among mothers and children.
There is a significant difference between the good program for the diabetic person's nutrition regarding carbohydrates and protein pre/post application of the program.
Researchers recommend the necessity for considering application of the proposed nutrition programs, as these programs have proved their low-cost to nearly half of the costs. Researchers recommend also developing awareness among mothers and their children of proper healthy nutrition.
