This paper aimed to recognize the concept of "social responsibility" and has worked to monitor the historical development and review of the four different stages that went through until it reached the current stage. Then the paper presented a review of a number of global models practice the principle of social responsibility in some developed countries and the programs that are of which achieved the success and effectiveness of this principle in the society. It was to provide a review of the models practiced of this principle in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and evaluate the success of these practices and programs. In conclusion, the paper made a number of proposals in order to deepen and develop the concept of the principle of social responsibility and models of its practice.
