Abstract

In this paper, characterization of probability distributions by equalities of two di erent generalized order statistics
(gos) or dual generalized order statistics (dgos) is considered. It is proved that, if two di erent gos or dgos via the same
distribution function (df) F are equal, then F has at most two growth points
