Abstract

Four weeks of injection by Saprolegnia diclina on grass carp, Ctenopharyngodon idella indicated decrease in total protein content in liver, muscle and blood serum. Also, the liver and muscle glycogen was depleted. On the other hand, while the liver lipid was sharply decreased, it was elevated in muscles and blood serum. In addition, the ascorbic acid of
the anterior kidney was depleted.
