Abstract

Tomato crop is considered an important food crops in Egypt. It is used in domestic consumption and exports to other countries, to increase its competitiveness in foreign markets.   Tomato strategic food crop is and has been important productivity and Consumer, so the marketing system for tomato and efficiency is of great importance for the economy of Egypt, Reduced marketing efficiency of the system catalog of tomato result in a great loss for producers and consumers, have been some marketing indicators of tomato such as margins absolute marketing and relative measurement, and spread and price per farmer producer of consumer payments, and efficiency of marketing. The study concluded that marketing margins affected tomato prices, and prices of farm affect the production of tomato, and that margins the absolute marketing for wholesaler and retailer than a steady increase, as well as decreased marketing efficiency of tomato estimates during periods The first three study except the fourth period, some high and more than 50% on one and two periods, this means that marketing costs for tomato in this period of more than production costs during the periods mentioned.
