Abstract

The aim of the research is studying Fish Breeders Usage Mobile Phones to Obtain Technical Recommendations Related to Fish Farming at Damietta Governorate.
Two villages randomly from among the villages belonging to Damiatta district, so they were the villages of Al-Ratma and Shatt Jariba, and through in the Fish Wealth Authority, the number of fish farms in them reached 260 owners of a fish farm, and the a round by Krejcic and Morgan, so it reached 155 respondents to represent a sample targeted search.
Data were collected using personal questionnaire.  Data were analyzed using frequency, percentages, mean, simple- multiple correlation coefficients and step wise analysis using spss statistical programs.
The main findings of the research revealed that:
- Only about 10% of the respondents had a low degree of use, while 90% of them came in the two categories of medium and high.
- The most important sources of information for the respondents about fish farming are: the veterinarian, the experiences of successful farmers, fish dealers, the Fish Wealth Authority and friends and neighbors
-There is a direct and significant correlation at the probabilistic level 0.01 between experience in fish farming, the number of people who carry a mobile phone in the family, areas of mobile phone use, cultural openness, and the degree of their use of mobile phones to obtain technical recommendations related to fish farming.
-The independent variables explained about (19.4%) from the variance in the dependent variable, The more affected independent variables on the dependent variable were: the age of the respondent, experience in fish farming, cultural openness.
