This research mainly aims at identifying life skill of
the countryside woman in some villages of Tanta
District, El-Gharbia Governorate:
The research was done in El-Gharbia
Governorate,Tanta District and three villages were
chosen: (Kafr El-Shiekh Selim village, Manshaat
Ganzour village.sanaded village) in Tanta Dstrict,El-
Gharbia Governorate.The sample size was358
researched of the farmers"wives.The questionnaire was
used with the interview with the researches to collect
the data during April2018.After collecting them, they
were empted and statistically analyzed by the
repetitions,the percentages and the correlation
coefficient.
The most important results were the following:
It is cleared from the results of the type of life skills
which the countryside woman gained and the total
degree that was acquired to the life skills that her
gaining to the healthy siklls was high, whereas her
gaining to the rational dealing with the environment
was moderate, while on the other hand her level of
doing the personal skills was moderate, while the
economical siklls were high.Finally,her doing of the
total degree of the life skills was moderate.
There are four sources of the information from
which the countryside woman get her information: the
personal experience with the percentage of (100%), the
television(66%), the school (42%) and the
internet(35,7%).
There is a significat relation ship at level (0,01)
between the variable of the improvement degree and
the total degree of gaining the researched the life skills,
where the correlation coefficient was 0,295**whch
means that the higher was the standard of living, the
higher was the total degree of gaining the researched
the life skills.
There are five skills the women want to train on
them which can be showed as the following: getting an
agricultural technology with the percentage of(40,5%),
hand crafts (25,4%),home industries(19%), the rational
dealing with the environment(18,15%) and first
aids(5,58%).
There is no correlation relation between age, the
educational status, the marriage period, the possession
of hom machines, frequency of development, and the
total degree of gaining the researched the life skills.
There is significant relation ship at level of(0,01)
between the state of the house, The agricultural
possession size, the improvement degree in the standard
of living and the total degree of gaining the researched
the life skills.
There is asignificant a dverse relationship at
level(0,05) between the number of the family member
and the total degree of gaining the research the life
skills.
