Abstract

This research objective to evaluation the present situations for WaterSecurity in the Nile Basin Countries, Has been used descriptive economical and statistical methods, Research has relied on secondary data in achieving its objectives, in particular Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), (FAOSTAT) of the United Nations. The most important results of the research are: 1- Available water in the Nile Basin Countries was about 1748.11Milliard m3, the total amount of used water was about 111.12 Milliard m3, a portion of agriculture sector was about 65% in most of the Nile Basin Countries, and the average of individual from available water was less than 1000 m3 in Rwanda, Kenya, Egypt, respectively. 2- The water stress was less than about 10%, Except Sudan and Egypt are, 42.78%, 119.20%, respectively. 3- The dependency of  Water was reached to12.75% in Tanzania, to reach a maximum in Egypt, about  96.86% its means very high level of risk and water challenges foreign .while the both of Ethiopia, and Rwanda hasn't a dependency of Water.  Study Recommendation: The research recommends the importance of programs, projects, integration, and economic cooperation, agriculture and water between the Nile Basin Countries, and rational water consumption.   .
