Musculoskeletal sonography is a rapidly evolving technique that is gaining popularity for the evaluation and treatment of joint and soft tissue diseases. (Lin, 2000). It can be a reliable, expedient and readily accessible alternative to other more costly techniques such as MR imaging. (Lin, 2000). In the detection of musculoskeletal masses especially soft tissue masses, ultrasonography is a readily available, inexpensive and non-invasive modality (Woude, 1999). Color Doppler can be also used in detection of neurovascular bundle involvement (El-Badawi, 1998).
