Abstract of the research: The aim of the research was to study the features that distinguished the decorative units of the Sadu art and to identify its components to benefit from them in enriching the designs of women's cloaks using three-dimensional fashion design programs in order to shed light on the traditional arts and emphasize the Sadu art as a cultural and civilizational heritage. It also showed the extent of the sustainability of Sadu in creating innovative designs derived from the Arab heritage and identity. These designs combine authenticity and modernity. The abaya is considered one of the most important pieces of clothing for women, due to its formative and aesthetic components. It is an integral part of the Arab heritage. Accordingly, Sadu decorations were employed in designing a variety of design sketches for women's cloaks, using the CLO Standalone 7.2 three-dimensional program, due to the many features that this program enjoys, the most important of which is showing the shape from all sides. Two questionnaires were also created, one of which was presented to a group of professors specialized in the field of clothing and textiles, and the second was presented to consumers to ensure that the objectives of the research were achieved. The results showed the success of the designs in achieving the foundations and elements of design and the innovative and functional aspect with the possibility of application and implementation.
