This study tackled the cognitive foundations in the analogies related to women in the book of analogies by Ibn Abu Aoun by clarifying: (field- source) - (domain- target) - cognitive generalization reason- the semantic context of analogies. I saw that the method of building the concept "WOMEN" among poets through depicting her by concepts and relationships drawn from areas in the (nature, animals, and plants).
The cognitive foundations included the analogies related to women through analogies of everyday life and it is not limited to the literary language only. Analogy with cognitive concept is an intellectual process linked to analogical and conceptual coordination of humen. It makes the human mind organzie the world around it in relationships and is based on the similarities that exist between (domain-source), (domain _ target) It is clear that applying one field of knowledge to another provides new perceptions. Analogies have a basis within the physical collective and cultural experience. At the same time, it influences the experience and behaviour of this group.
