-Competition programs in the media are numerous including general education and poetry competition programs between eloquent poets in our Arab and popular heritage. One of these programs (Prince of Poetry) which is widely popular among lovers of poetry and tradional culture.
-The study aimed to show the role of the media through these programs through studying a poem:
(Returning from their Mirrors) by IyadAl-Hakami, who won in the seventh season of the contest for this poem.
-We stop and have a deep look at the beauty of lexical cohesion and homogeny and disparity in determining the interconnectedness of the voice, semantic structure and metaphors that are characterized by different aspects of creativities, eloquence and interconnectedness of the word through which he managed to restore and recall (Poetry of Wisdom) where the wisdom is very vivid in the verses.
-The substance of the treatment manifested in the correlation between the words and meanings of the poem, in which the sounds and symbolic connotations in a framework and a special acoustic system associated with its poetic context, to express the poet's experience.
-The study concluded that the prominent role of the competition in popular and educational programs spread awareness and encouragement of eloquent poetry as well as motivate the audience to absorb the linguistic creativity of poets in classical Arabic lyric poetry. The poet mastered the drawing of images depicting the land marks, roadmaps as well as endings with a great ability of eloquence and accuracy in expression.
