Abstract

The aim of the research: to reveal the effect of using the six-dimensional strategy in developing the mathematical strength of the preparatory stage students. The researcher used the experimental design with two equal groups (experimental - control), and the research group consisted of (70) male and female students of the first preparatory grade at the “Abu Ali Preparatory School" in Menoufia Governorate, so they were distributed into two groups, one experimental, and each of them (35) A male and female student.
The research tools were in each of the experimental tools (the teacher's guide for teaching “the unit of geometry and measurement" according to the six-dimensional strategy - the student's guide prepared according to the six-dimensional strategy, the measurement tools and the test of mathematical power in the “geometry and measurement" unit
The research tools were applied before and after on the research group, then the data was processed statistically, and the research reached the following results:
There is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.01) between the mean scores of the students of the two research groups (experimental and control) in the post application to measure the effect of using the six-dimensional strategy in developing the dimensions of mathematical power as a whole for the benefit of the experimental group.
There is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.01) between the mean scores of the students of the two experimental research groups in the pre and post applications of the mathematical power test as a whole in favor of the post application.
The six-dimensional strategy is effective in developing mathematical power in mathematics for first year preparatory students.
