The study aims to focus on Maya Angelou's autobiographical novel, Gather Together in My Name. It highlights the problems that Maya Angelou addresses in her book.      It traces the events of the author's life as a reflection of the American Society through her second autobiographical book. It tries to examine Angelou's autobiography as an example of some conflicts between whites and blacks in the American society especially with African-Americans who all the time searches for chances to live, work and settle as a normal people. The novel shows how Angelou asks for her rights and those of colored women not only in the USA but also all over the world.   تهدف الدراسة إلي الترکيز علي رواية السيرة الذاتية لمايا انجلووهي اجتمعوا على إسمي معا وتلقي الضوء على المشاکل التي قدمتها انجلو في کتابها. تتبع الدراسة ايضا أحداث حياة الکاتبة کانعکاس للمجتمع الأمريکي خلال کتاب سيرتها الذاتية الثاني وتحاول فحص سيرة الکاتبة الذاتية کمثال لبعض المشاکل بين البيض والسود في المجتمع الأمريکي خصوصا الأمريکين ذو الأصول الإفريقية واللذين طول الوقت تبحثون عن فرص ليعيشوا ويعملوا ويستقروا کأناس عادين. ولکنها. توضح الرواية أن مايا انجلو تطلب حقوقها وحقوق النساء ذوات البشرة الملونة ليس فقط في أمريکا ولکن في العالم کله.
