The main question of this research is to investigate farmers' views and actual experiences about some basic human rights that concern the research, So the research aimed to identify the farmers' perception of human rights through the following aspects: the respondents' opinion regarding some human rights, the importance of human rights for respondents, the attention paid by agencies towards human rights studied and availability of human rights. Finally, identify the relationship between farmers' perception of studied human rights and some of their personal and socio-economic characteristics. The research was carried out at "Um Khenan" village, Giza Governorate. Data were collected using personal interview questionnaire from 150 farmers selected randomly, during December 2015 and January 2016.Data were presented using percentages, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, range, frequencies and analyzed by Pearson's Simple Correlation Coefficient and Chi-Square test according to the type of data. The study revealed that most respondents agreed upon the studied human rights and its importance, with a general average of 2.81 and 2.52 respectively. There was a significant decrease in the attention of the concerned agencies regarding the studied human rights, and its availability to the respondents and other community members in the study area, the general averages were 1.42, 1.44 and 1.38 respectively. Finally there was a significant relationship between the various aspects of farmers' perception regarding the studied human's rights and their personal and socio-economic variables.
