The research aimed to identify the impact of awareness programs for rural women in rationalizing water use related to the lack of irrigation water and domestic uses, by determining the impact of training programs for rural women in changing their knowledge and attitudes, and then modifying their behavior in using water in agriculture and at home. The research was conducted in some of the developed irrigation villages in Beheira and Kafr El-Sheikh governorates of, data was collected from women who attended water awareness programs before and after attending the program by means of a questionnaire with a total of 210 respondents, and frequencies and percentages, and (t) (f) test were used to analyze the study data. The two samples were analyzed from each governorate separately due to the presence of significant differences between the variables in the governorates of Beheira and Kafr El-Sheikh.           From the results, the women who attended the awareness programs to rationalize the use of water at home and agriculture affected them positively, increasing the change of their attitudes and behavior, which means that there is a moral difference between the women before and after attending the awareness programs in the governorates of Beheira and Kafr El-Sheikh. Which requires the dissemination of these programs to rationalize the use of water to make optimal use of it with the state's treatment of wastewater to be used in horizontal expansion in agriculture to meet the shortage of Nile water as a result of the construction of the Nahda Dam.
