في هذه المداخلة نقدم نبذة مختصرة حول ما تزخر به الجزائر من تراث أثري يرجع إلى مختلف الحقب التاريخية والتي يصل عمقها الحضاري إلى 2,4مليون سنة، بمجموع ما يزيد عن 15200موقع ومعلم أثري، تبذل الدولة الجزائرية ممثلة في وزارة الثقافة والفنون جهودا کبيرة من أجل حماية وصيانة وترميم وتثمين هذا التراث، والبحث والتنقيب عنه، وقد خصصت لذلک عدة مؤسسات مختصة في الحماية والصيانة والترميم والبحث والتنقيب، والتکوين، کما تتم سنويا وبشکل دوري أو متواصل عمليات مختلفة في الصيانة وأعمال الحفظ الوقائي، کما برمجت ما يقارب 200 مشروع ترميم، وسنويا تمنح أزيد من 20 إلى 50 رخصة لإقامة حفريات وأسبار واستکشاف أثري، کما اعتمدت خلال الفترة الأخيرة استراتيجية جديدة لتثمين التراث الأثري واستغلاله کمورد اقتصادي.

Throughout this intervention, we present a brief overview of Algeria's archaeological heritage dating back to various historical periods, whose civilizational depth reaches 2.4 million years, with a total of more than 15,200 archaeological sites and landmarks. The Algerian state represented by the Ministry of Culture and Arts is making great efforts to protect preserve, restore and make valorization of this heritage, add to research and excavation, . Several institutions specialized in protection, restoration; research, excavation, and formation have been designated for this. More than 20 to 50 licenses have been issued to establish excavations, wells and archaeological exploration. Recently, a new strategy was adopted to value the archaeological heritage and exploit it as an economic resource.
